Running a Further Competition - What will I need to do?

As part of this process you will need to:

This includes setting evaluation criteria and weightings, writing quality and social value questions and creating your own pricing schedule and pricing model.

The Framework Specification of Requirements contains the detailed specification used when setting up the Framework. You will need to expand these or add additional requirements to suit your own specific requirements.

The Call-Off Terms and Conditions contain a number of clauses and schedules that you will need to complete so that the terms fit your organisation.

The Guide to Call-Off gives more detailed instructions on how to review and refine the Call-Off Terms and Conditions.

All Providers on the Framework which are capable of meeting your requirements must be invited to Further Competition. Please see the Guide to Call-off for a step-by-step guide on how to prepare the documentation for your Invitation to Further Competition.

Responses need to be evaluated against the criteria you have set.

The Example Intention to Award and Contract Award Letters provide templates for you to use when advising both successful and unsuccessful Providers of the outcome.

This is not mandatory but a 10-day Standstill period is recommended as best practice.

Complete and sign your Order Form with your chosen Provider. Once signed this document, along with the Call-off Terms and Conditions, forms your contract with the successful Provider.

You will need to publish a Contract Award Notice for any contract you let via the National LGPS Frameworks via Contracts Finder if the value is over £30,000 including VAT.

Please notify National LGPS Frameworks of your award by emailing NationalLGPSFrameworks@norfolk.gov.uk
