The National LGPS Procurement Framework for Integrated Service Provider (ISP) and Member Data Services went live in April 2024 and will be available for Further Competition and Direct Award until 1 April 2028. This is the second iteration of the Member Data Services Procurement Framework, now expanded to support Funds as they prepare for the introduction of the Pensions Dashboards. Integrated Service Provider (ISP) services and a wide variety of member data services can now all be procured via this Framework.
This Framework helps LGPS Funds, Investment Pools, their employers and wider public sector pension schemes with swift and easy access to a wide range of reliable, good value expert specialists to support Pensions Services teams with Pensions Dashboard readiness, as well as all aspects of managing and improving member data.
This framework will be invaluable for many LGPS administering authorities. Being able to procure an ISP provider through the framework is a real benefit and will undoubtedly help authorities comply with their legal duties for pensions dashboards. The data services framework will assist authorities in ensuring member data is complete and accurate, as well as complying with TPR’s expectations in this area.
The ISP and Member Data Services Framework enables the LGPS community to source a variety of services matched to their own requirements, from small one-off pieces of work to longer term, single provider arrangements. The Framework is split into seven distinct service areas:
- Lot 1: Integrated Service Providers (ISP)
- Lot 2: Address Tracing and Correction Services
- Lot 3: Mortality Screening Services
- Lot 4: Overseas Address Tracing and Correction Services
- Lot 5: Overseas Mortality Screening Services
- Lot 6: Bank Account Verification
- Lot 7: Data Quality Reporting for Pensions Dashboard Readiness
Contracts awarded under the Framework may be let up until 8 February 2036, and for a maximum of eight years.
