How does this Framework work?

This section gives you an overview of the process undertaken as part of the setup of this Framework and what users of the Framework will need to do at call-off stage.

All the stages in the grey circle have been undertaken by the National LGPS Framework Founding Authorities in setting up the Framework. The stages in green highlight what you need to do at Further Competition and Direct Award.

This Framework is structured to offer flexibility and choice, with separate Lots covering seven types of service. Use your judgement to decide which Lot meets your requirements and best delivers your business need. You can run a Further Competition or Direct Award depending on which Lot your requirement falls under.

If you decide not to use the National LGPS Framework and you don’t have access to an alternative Framework, you may need to undertake a full regulation-compliant procurement.
